Nicki Minaj, is a Trinidadian-born American rapper, singer, songwriter and actress.
From Minaj debut studio album Pink Friday (2010) reached number one in the U.S. Its main "Starships" single reached number 5 in the U.S. and became one of the best-selling singles of 2012. From 2013, Nicki Minaj has sold over 5 million albums worldwide. That same year, Minaj served as a judge during the twelfth season of American Idol.

Minaj is the first female artist included in the annual Hot List of MTV MC, with The New York Times suggests that some consider "the most influential rapper of all time". His rap is distinguished by its fast flow alterations and use accents. Their extravagant and colorful costumes, wigs and clothes have given their recognition as a fashion icon. In April 2013, Minaj became more drawn rapper in the history of the Billboard Hot 100, with more than forty-four appearances. She has supported Adidas, MAC Cosmetics, and Pepsi. Reviewing its roots in the theater, Minaj has ventured into the voice acting work in Ice Age: Continental Drift and is making her acting debut in the 2014 film The Other Woman. She has won seven BET Awards, four American Music Awards, two MTV Music Awards, one MTV Europe Music Award, five Billboard Music Awards and the 2011 Rising Star by Billboard. Nicki Minaj was the tenth most played Top 40 artists on Mediabase.
